Election Day is Tuesday. Heading to the polls? Before you step out the door and into the booth, there are some things you need to know!
Q: Who’s on my ballot?
A: Use the tool in The Assembly’s Election Guide to find info on all the candidates and races on your ballot.
Q: Where’s my polling place?
A: You can use the Voter Search tool on the state Board of Elections website to find your polling place.
Q: What time do the polls close?
A: Polls are open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Election Day. And if you’re in line by 7:30 p.m., stay in line–you can vote. All North Carolina voters will be allowed to vote with or without a photo ID, but all will be asked to show photo ID when voting. Read more here.
Now that you’ve got the who, where, and when covered, your next question might be what? We have answers from the candidates in Wake County races in their candidate questionnaires. Find those answers and what else you need to know about those running here. And if you’ve got more questions, we’ve got you covered.
